The owner, Marc, and the entire staff are friendly and so knowledgeable. Wines throughout the shop are selected based on their quality and finding new selections to try that are wallet friendly is something that you will never struggle with. Marc prides himself on the large organic selection and we are blown away by his ability to explain and discuss just about anything wine. Marc teaches wine classes throughout the DMV and Spin the Bottle is the premier destination for Frederick Area Wine tastings!

MIDAR Beer & Wine

MIDAR Beer and Wine - a hidden gem located just behind Carroll Creek is a great option for grabbing a unique bottle and enjoying a carefully paired cigar.
The emphasis on exceptional service and knowledgeable staff is what draws us over and over. Darren is incredibly knowledgeable and although I am not a cigar smoker typically, he made a recommendation that I loved.
Downstairs, you’ll find a small but carefully curated wine selection with new selections always being added. Upstairs you’ll find MIDAR cigars, boasting three comfortable lounge areas that offer privacy when wanted and community all the time!

What an unexpected find as we stopped by the garage located near the Frederick Airport. I expected to find typical bar foods, beer and maybe a house wine option, but was very pleasantly surprised to find a great selection of both bottled and canned wine varieties. I would be remiss if I did not also mention the buffalo wings which were perfectly crispy and spicy (something that is difficult to come by without asking).
